Hey Joe!
So… you may have read… I have spent the last several days addicted to tracing my family roots. During that time I have also been reading a biography. I strongly recommend against doing these things simultaneously. Especially if the subjects of both projects have similar geographical regions associated with them. My head is filled with names, dates, and locations and they are all getting matted together in my brain like two separate blankets of conjoining ivy. Today I had to remind myself that I am not even remotely related to Jimi Hendrix. Not that it’s not possible, just highly improbable for obvious reasons. One specifically stands out above the rest. I’m sure you know what it is. That’s right. You got it. The main difference between Jimi and I is that I can’t play my guitar left handed and upside down. Other than that we could totally be related.

I really prefer not to research my genealogy.
That way I can say with confidence that Jimi and I COULD, in fact, be related.

I ran into the same problem; I was surfing Rootsweb while listening to Flogging Molly, and had a fleeting thought that I was related to Dave King.
