This one is dedicated to Liz…

Just an update.  I’ll be back someday soon.

Work – I’m moving my father’s business back into his house so he can run it himself.  I’m looking for a job and have a few good opportunities.

House – Finally painted.  Finally on the market.  First open house was Sunday and it went better than everyone thought.  No offers yet, but cross your fingers and pray for bidding war.   You can see pictures of what $649,000 will get you here.  I know.  Californians are ridiculous for what they’re willing to pay for a house.

Car – I’m also desperately trying to sell my really cool convertible Camaro.  If you know anyone into sports cars, specifically Chevies and has an extra $18,500.00 lying around let me know.

Band – Looks like we’re going to be very busy next year with lots of gigs.

That’s about it.

I checked out the house. It’s cute- especially the living room and front exterior, but DAMN. THAT cost 649K?! If I lived in California, when I got a little older I would sell my house for that price and move somewhere else. In most places, you could buy a SWEET place for 250K. If the profit was right, you could be totally debt free. That would be awesome.

Thanks for the update- and the dedication. The last thing I remember being dedicated to me was a song at the skating rink. The guy who dedicated it was named Booger.

I was all set to buy your house and then I noticed that there was no basketball hoop over the garage. So the deal is off.

I’m pretty sure there could be a basketball hoop over the garage by the end of the day, Rachel.

Will that be a check or credit?

I am laughing about the house. My dad is selling a trailer on the ocean in southern cal (email me and I will send you the link if you think of it) and you will be appalled at the price. Good luck with the job hunt!
